This is a photograph of the Nazca Spider . The Spider is one of numerous ancient drawings in the mountains of Peru. The Nazca Line drawings on the ground, called geoglyphs, were made between 400-650 AD. Due to desert weather conditions, the ancient drawings are beautifully preserved. The Nazca Lines are a protected UNESCO World Heritage Site.
